San Diego Unified School District - Correia Middle School Sports Complex

The project features fully-accessible, low-maintenance and high-quality play surfaces. In addition, special care was taken to provide storm water run-off controls in order to protect the nearby Formosa Slough.

This project provides a fully-illuminated multi-field sports complex with the following features:

• Artificial turf for high school level competition baseball field with enclosed player seating, enclosed bullpens and spectator seating for 200
• (3) multi-use artificial turf play fields (football, soccer andlacrosse)
• (8) multi-use hard surface play courts (basketball/tennis)
• (1) long jump runway and pit
• 2-Story Building with (2) classrooms over team changing facility and restrooms
• Concession and restroom facility
• General site accessibility improvements, including elevator and ramp connections to upper campus level
• Storm water control systems
• Parking lot improvements
• Drought-tolerant, low-maintenance landscaping improvements
