The Lab is a physical place within AVRP Studios where dedication, time, and talent push our projects further into the realm of function and beauty. Design is our top priority. Organized as place for the imagination, the Lab engages unexpected expertise to explore new ideas and imagery through a carefully managed collaboration of both the past and future.
We think of the Lab as a coalition of creativity. We are dedicated to and focused on inventive design ideas that peel back the curtain behind buildings and the city’s urban fabric.
The Lab facilitates open dialogue and analytical feedback anytime anywhere. Impromptu collaborations feed our idea process and facilitate this nimble, casual, intense or frequent process. This flexible dialogue allows for raw ideas to be generated within the design process without impact on design schedules or project momentum.
Ultimately, the goal is to host the Ideation Lab during the Pre-Development phase. This provides ample time and resources to be focused on developing creative ideas that generate innovative design approaches.
