The exterior architecture of the existing 1950’s design was updated to match the newer buildings on the campus. These newer buildings were also designed by AVRP Studios. The improvements included a new brick facade with large punched openings, a brick colonnade and an arched entrance.
The renovated design added valuable learning resourcefunctions including a Multimedia Lab, Classrooms and an Instructional / Conference Room. The staff workroom was improved and a mobile, space-saving, shelving system was installed to save additional space. As with all AVRP Studios’ designs, the social component of education is central and a number of individual and group study areas are provided to allow for adaptable and inviting social and learning interaction.
