Vetpowered was founded in 2009 to train veterans and wounded warriors in digital manufacturing, welding/fabrication, and machinery repair. The highly trained workforce comes from the base across the street, and half of all staff lives in the Barrio Logan community.
The existing training and manufacturing location a block away is too small and more space is required on the path to realizing the vision of a nationally recognized joint advanced manufacturing center of excellence.
This location is comprised of a 2 story building with a groundfloor use of product showroom and advanced manufacturing robotics, and a second floor use of administrative spaces and technical support.
