The Hansji Corporation proposed to build a 154,098 square foot mixed use lodge with a market located on their existing property. The proposed build will be split in to two phases: Phase 1 being 140 hotel rooms, with a market, event space and 186 spaces of parking throughout the site. Phase 2 will be a 100 cabin rooms and 100 parking spaces added to the existing site.
This important site adjacent to Yosemite National Park is being developed on a site recently destroyed by wildfires. The reclaiming of this site and restoration of its important natural state required a highly sustainable approach, that creates both a recreational experience and focuses on the importance of man and nature.
