The new headquarters for Red Door Interactive looked to create a campus setting with the eclectic gathering of buildings. The goal was to maintain the distinct styles of all 3 buildings:

The two-story building to the east was a mid-century retail building that needed to be cleaned up and updated but we wanted to keep the bones the way they were. We are calling this building “the workshop”.
The middle building was a metal warehouse that was renovated and kept metal. We are calling this building “the garage”.
The building to the west was originally a house converted into office space. We are tried to maintain the residential character of an older structure that has a contemporary office building inside. We are of course calling this building “the house”.

Their new Sherman Heights headquarters needed immediate design attention to prepare for a “post-pandemic workplace”. Attention was directed towards gatherings, indoor-outdoor connectivity and day-to-day work with physical layouts and configurations that afford appropriate safety, security and wellbeing of their employees and clients.
