The design plans are in the early stages but currently the team is looking to create a campus setting with the eclectic gathering of buildings. We are trying to maintain the distinct styles of all 3 buildings:

  • The two-story building to the east is a mid-century retail building that will need to be cleaned up and updated but will keep the bones the way they are. We are calling this building “the workshop”.
  • The middle building is a metal warehouse that will be renovated and kept metal. We are calling this building “the garage”. 
  • The building to the west was originally a house converted into office space. We are trying to maintain the residential character of an older structure that has a contemporary office building inside. We are of course calling this building “the house”.

Their new Sherman Heights headquarters needed immediate design attention to prepare for a “post-pandemic workplace”. Attention was directed towards gatherings, indoor-outdoor connectivity and day-to-day work with physical layouts and configurations that afford appropriate safety, security and wellbeing of their employees and clients.
