PROJECT:
Tenant Improvement and Consolidation of Existing Office Building

CLIENT:
Time Warner Cable

SERVICES PROVIDED:
Master Planning, Programming, Architecture and Interior Design

This 134,000 square foot office building is the new corporate campus for one of the largest cable network providers in California. Time Warner Cable wanted to consolidate their four existing offices on 8949 Ware Court to one unified campus on 10450 Pacific Center Court, in Sorrento Valley.

It was important to Time Warner that the design of this 2-story existing tenant improvement was unique, creative and functional for employees and visitors. AVRP Studios, therefore designed a lively environment by creating a “beach to desert’ theme that runs throughout the facility and reflects the different regions that the company represents.

The design of the space incorporates organic flowing forms throughout the facility, curvatures ceilings and a ‘wave wall’ that resides in the entry of the building. There are ‘roundabouts’ designed as social gathering places and extends up through the second floor.

The project includes an executive meeting area and boardroom, marketing, human resource and IT departments, private offices and individual conference rooms on the second floor. The first floor contains a large call center, field services and individual chat rooms throughout.
