Randy Robbins, AIA, LEED AP, has over 40 years of experience in master planning, architecture, and interior design. Leading AVRP Studios’ Campus and Community studio, Robbins has worked with a wide array of clients including municipalities, school districts, non-profit organizations, and private developers.
Higher education experience includes projects at UCSD, San Diego State University, and Riverside Community College. K-12 work includes work for San Diego Unified School District at Hoover High School, Point Loma High School, and Correia Middle School.
His community portfolio includes the award-winning Congregation Beth Israel campus, Ray & Joan Kroc Salvation Army Community Center and the Battle of the Midway Experience Theater located on the USS Midway Museum.
With a keen eye for art and aesthetics, Robbins has served as an appointed member of the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture, and as a Director of the San Diego Architectural Foundation. Currently, he serves as a Director of ACE mentoring and as the Treasurer and Past President of Installation Gallery, the sponsor of inSITE, a binational arts program. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo.
